Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 30 October 2026

1. About Cartio

These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases from cartio.uk. The website is operated by Inovera Limited, a private limited company trading as Cartio, company number 874398, registered/trading address Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Inovera Limited is not VAT registered. Contact: support@cartio.uk.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. Our products are sold to consumers for personal use. We currently deliver only to approved delivery areas (initially selected Edinburgh postcodes).

3. Products

We sell a range of general consumer goods, which may include electronics, fashion and accessories, beauty, home and kitchen, toys, sports and other everyday products. Images are for illustration; small variations in colour or appearance may occur. Product descriptions, specifications and safety information are provided on each product page. Some products may have age or other legal restrictions, which will be stated where applicable.

4. Prices and availability

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Cartio is not VAT registered and no VAT is charged. Delivery charges are shown in your basket and at checkout before you pay. All prices, discounts and delivery charges are confirmed by our systems at checkout. Products are subject to availability. If a pricing error occurs that is obvious and unmistakable, we may cancel the order and refund any payment in full.

5. Accounts and guest checkout

You may buy with or without an account. If you create an account, you must keep your login details confidential and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use. Guest customers can track orders, download invoices and request returns by verifying their email address through "Find My Orders". We do not create accounts for guests.

6. Ordering and order acceptance

When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. Our contract with you is formed when payment is confirmed and we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch, for example if goods become unavailable, the delivery address is outside our delivery area, or we reasonably suspect fraud; in that case we will refund any payment in full.

7. Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. Your order is only confirmed once Stripe confirms the payment. You must be authorised to use the payment method provided.

8. Delivery

We deliver only to approved postcodes, which we check before payment. For eligible Edinburgh postcodes we aim to deliver within two days (based on our operating days and order cut-off time), and the expected delivery date is shown before you pay and in your confirmation email. If we cannot deliver on time we will contact you. If goods are not delivered within 30 days (or an agreed essential date), you may be entitled to treat the contract as ended and receive a refund. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

9. Invoices

An invoice or receipt is generated for every paid order. It is available to view and download from "My Orders" (account customers) or "Find My Orders" (guest customers). We do not automatically send invoice PDFs by email.

10. Your responsibilities

You must provide accurate contact and delivery information, ensure someone can receive the delivery or follow your delivery instructions, use products in accordance with their instructions, and not misuse our website (including attempting to access other customers' data or disrupt our systems).

11. Cancelling an order

You may ask to cancel before delivery by contacting support@cartio.uk with your order number; if the order has not been dispatched we will cancel it and refund you in full. After delivery, your cancellation rights are described in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

12. Faulty or damaged goods

Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including a 30-day short-term right to reject, and then rights to repair or replacement and, where appropriate, a price reduction or final right to reject. These rights are not limited to 14 days. Please report damage or faults as soon as reasonably possible.

13. Returns and refunds

See our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms.

14. Discounts and promotions

Coupons and promotions are subject to their stated conditions (such as dates, minimum spend, eligible products and usage limits), cannot be exchanged for cash and are validated at checkout. Where an order using a discount is refunded, the refund reflects the price actually paid.

15. Customer reviews and questions

Reviews may be submitted only by verified purchasers and are moderated before publication. Reviews must be honest, lawful and not offensive, and must not contain personal data of others. We may decline or remove content that breaches these rules. We do not publish fake reviews.

16. Intellectual property

The Cartio name, logo, website design and content are owned by or licensed to Inovera Limited. You may not copy or reuse them without permission, except for personal, non-commercial viewing.

17. Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory consumer rights. We are not liable for business losses, as our products are for domestic and private use.

18. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, but we will tell you and take steps to minimise the effect.

19. Complaints and disputes

Please contact support@cartio.uk with any complaint; we aim to respond within 5 working days. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

20. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. You may bring proceedings in the Scottish courts, or, if you live in England and Wales or Northern Ireland, in the courts of your home nation.

21. Cartio Business — Coming Soon

The Cartio Business page only invites businesses to register interest in a possible future seller programme. Registering interest does not create a seller account, contract, listing right or any obligation for either party, and no payment is taken. Cartio is currently the only seller on cartio.uk.

22. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you place your order apply to that order.
